I won’t drop my pen

I found a new escape
my pen is my new voice
the voice that can never crackdown
I was intimidated to shut up
but I won’t drop my pen.

Pen is mightier than the sword
Your weapons against me are limited
But leaps and bounds of my pen, inexhaustible
When I found this new route
I never looked back again nor relented

They gave me bitter pills to swallow
Just to quench my voice
Then I won’t speak out anymore in public
I was intimidated to drop my voice
But I won’t drop my pen

If I can’t say it, let me write it
If I can’t be seen, my writings are visible
If I can’t travel, my ink can go round the world
you can frighten my voice, but not my pen
For this, I won’t stop writing
