Day of doom, of anguish and of pain
That saw the Saviour beneath
Bloodshed and oblation day
Who would ever call thee good?

About thee, what is good?
When darkness in secret plan
wanted to over-thrown the light
Lo! The might is always right

Life from death is a mystery
though it remains a naked truth
Day with many to unfold
Love that knows no bound

Wonderful Love of the Saviour
who donated His life for us
that through death, life may come
What a mystery we celebrate!

He mounted the wood of the cross
Opening His hand to bid us come
Opening His side to wash us clean
Opening His limbs to strengthen us

What a miraculous Love we celebrate
That a Victim died for his pals
Christ Jesus, the Victim
Sacrificed Himself on the Tree

In the desert, Tree brought life
Saving from striking snakes
On the Cross, the repetition
We look unto the Cross of Salvation
