It always takes two to tango
We learn to live leaning on each other
But when my knowledge bank got robbed
And I suddenly go blank
And memory of past begins to fail
I’ll rely on you for good guide

Teach me how to kiss welcome
That I’ll welcome all humanity
Despite our towering differences
Tribe, religion, ethnicity, or race
Suddenly disappear from my mirror
Mindset on what unites than what divides

Teach me how to kiss acceptance
Then I’ll never fail to accept everyone
Despite their characters or orientations
Then I’ll get off this judge’s robe
I’ll no more think I am more right and better
Than the ones I judge and condemn

Teach me how to kiss peace
Then I’ll be a radiating agent of love
Preach peace and love the world gives no more
The peace of mind, soul and body
The sustainable peace that will last for ages
And bring all people together in hope and joy

Teach me how to kiss tolerance
That I’ll bear it without complaint
Whatever wrong I might find in others
Teach me then how to excuse their faults
The same that I’ll excuse mine
Let lasting love overshadow my mind

But never teach me how to kiss goodbye
Most times it comes with heartbreak
When someone is hurt and the pains are real
But when goodbye becomes the solution
The unavoidable escape route
Teach me too how to kiss goodbye
